They do not use any hormones or medications on their flock, and supplement their hens’ diet of fresh grass and bugs from new pasture every day.  They choose only grains that are grown without genetic modification. The farm is modeled in the style of Virginia’s famed farmer, Joel Salatin, of Polyface Farms. Liberty Hill also has homemade baked goods for sale; freshly ground whole wheat bread, including the delightful buttery cinnamon bread, and wholesome and hearty chocolate-chip cookies that have just the right amount of chocolate and sweetness.
